Section Bookmarker is a browser extension that lets you bookmark specific text on any web page. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how it is stored.
When you right-click selected text and choose "Bookmark this section," the extension saves:
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in
chrome.storage.local API. Your bookmarks never leave
your browser. There is no server, no database, and no cloud sync.
Section Bookmarker does not transmit any data to external servers. Your bookmarks are not shared with the developer, third parties, or any other service.
The extension contains no analytics, telemetry, or tracking code of any kind. No usage data is collected.
The extension requests the following permissions:
You can delete individual bookmarks from the extension popup at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
